Evamik draws on a variety of techniques and influences, including freehand drawing, digital design and experimental typography. Her designs often feature unexpected combinations of images and text, standing at the intersection of illustration, comics and graphic design.

After studying mural arts at the Escola Massana she graduated as a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Universidad de Barcelona, but shortly after she started questioning her practice and took a break from art, concentrating on web development instead. In her second attempt at an art career she has pivoted towards street art and illustration.

Leaving behind the seriousness of her formal education Evamik now delves unapologetically into failures, setbacks, and personal tragedies, and celebrates the very essence of being a outcast. She seeks to connect with the public through the feeling of inadequacy.
