Jamso
Juan Ángel Medina, also known as Jamso, is a multidisciplinary artist born in Jaén (Spain) who has spent the last few years living in Barcelona, where he has dedicated himself to developing his humorous side working as a scriptwriter, collaborator in TV programs, standup comedian and illustrator.
His drawings play with contrast, irony and the simplicity of everyday concepts that often lead to absurd situations. Jamso understands illustration as a means to express his ideas and not as an end, hence his simple style, in black and white, which manages to focus all the attention on the concept and not on the technique. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Jaén, Barcelona and Madrid.
