Urban Flower is an Architect graduated from the Central University of Venezuela and Illustrator graduated from IDEP Barcelona. In 2019, a difficult year for everyone, wrapped in the discomfort of his work situation and emotional instability. He decided to take some time to pause, self-examine and put aside the fears that prevented him from creating. With the time that the pandemic gave him, he began to reflect through drawing and started an illustrative introspection that led him to develop his own graphic universe.
In just 4 years of career he has positioned himself in the urban art scene of Barcelona with his street paintings with his distinctive Urban Flower and with various commissions. Among them, live painting; during the Candel concert, as winner of the Pimp my YEGO contest and for the local Puerto Bahía. He has also made blinds and murals for various companies such as Ares, Melat and Manolos.
His main sources of inspiration are Japanese Manga, American comics, Street art, and Pop art. Since he was a child he has always been fascinated by astronauts; how the shape, the costume and the colors contrast with the universe.
