H101
H101 started painting in 2002. His first contact was experimenting with the use of spray paint to express his ideas on the wall. He started with political graffiti and timidly some tagging but it was not until early 2005 that he decided to dedicate his life to street art. Later, he developed a realistic language but realized that the search had to be interior and not egocentric. He has always been interested in the ancient, the obscure, religiosity, secrets, mysticism, ancient religions and lost tribes that no one remembers. His intention is that the works transport the observer to a journey through the sacred, a search for the true “I” of the person, to find oneself in an imaginary world, but one that is so real that sometimes it’s scary to observe. “Be silent and observe, travel within, visit your world, and discover yourself surrounded by secrets.”
He resorts to symmetry to balance between good and evil, that balance that governs the world. The human being must feel happy with himself, in his habitat, to be able to understand the rest of the space around him.
Throughout his career, his work has been exhibited in various galleries in cities such as Madrid, Paris, Vienna, London, Oslo, Bologna, among others. He has also painted murals in Senegal, France, Italy, Slovakia and Germany.
