JUNCOSA
Born in Tarragona, this Catalan architect has actively participated in some of the most characteristic projects of the city, such as the Sagrada Familia.
Art always ran through his veins, but it was during the pandemic when he had it clear: “now is the time!”
He began to reproduce the floor of his house: “mosaics that we step on every day, turn them into works of art and hang them in the city”. But he didn’t stop there, he invited whoever found them, to take them to other places and take a photo of the work in their favorite place. That’s how #baldosasporelmundo, interactive urban art, was born.
Thanks to this project, his works have reached the walls of capitals such as Hong Kong, Paris or Istanbul. Also, thanks to this dynamic, the doors of the art world opened widely for him.
He has had several exhibitions and his work has been published in various media such as Traveler, El Periódico, El Nacional and other foreign media.
The versatility of his pieces allows him endless possibilities. He has collaborated with fashion, interior design and hotel brands. Even Fira de Barcelona uses his pieces as trophies for the winners of its congresses.
Now he is developing several projects, with a common denominator: the city and its inhabitants.
This is how Juncosa adds color to the world.
