Raquel Palis
Raquel Palis is an artist that mixes analog and digital media. She studied Interior Design at the University FIAM FAAM in Brazil and a master in User Experience at La Salla, Barcelona.
Her works are based on an artistic practice that unites two opposing worlds, the digital and the analog. She is a pioneering artist who uses augmented reality to speculate over the possibility of interconnected memories hidden in the subconscious of a supra-digital intelligence in the post-human era engaging in a futuristic vision unveiled in augmented reality sculptures. With her pieces, she seeks to provoke deep questions related to digital legacy and ownership of our role as active voices in this increasingly accelerated pace realm ruled by tech giants without expressive community voice.
Raquel Palis began to develop this artistic practice in 2015 and since then she has had several exhibitions, has been awarded multiple times and has collaborated in urban installations.
