Surfia grew up in an artistic family in Moscow, Russia, but has been living and creating in Barcelona for the past 6 years. Due to her interest in cinematography she started creating black and white detailed illustrations inspired by her travels, people and movies. In Portugal, surfing and skating on endless roads by the ocean was incredibly uplifting for her and made her fall in love with this culture, becoming the main subject of her art. Surfia started to add a little more colors in her pieces. Street art inspired her to add even more colors as she fell into the world of graffiti.

Barcelona seemed like the place to be… Surfia started to fill the walls with spray and paste ups. This new experience filled her soul with a ridiculous amount of joy. Her pieces have been exhibited in Moscu, Amsterdam, Peniche and Barcelona.
