Rocío’s interest in art began at a very young age, as her mother taught painting workshops. She grew up surrounded by painting, inspiration and method. Through her artistic project Katharsis, she materializes the deepest expression of the self in the physical world, in an attempt to get closer to who she is. Katharsis is the purification of the soul in spiritual, emotional, mental and physical terms. A state she reaches only when she paints.

Rocio’s connection with art is established as experimental and self-taught. Using fluid art materials in combination with various techniques, she creates her own.

She has participated in events where she painted live and has held several exhibitions. Among them: Buena onda Social Club (May 2022), Slow (June 2022), Baum Fest at Fira de Montjuic (October 2022) Barcelona, and Espacio Bua (Mar del Plata, Argentina, December 2022).
